The pretty harbour town of Weymouth with its long sandy beach is our next stop.

Lines of pedalos sit waiting for customers but the biting wind means that there won’t be much call for them today!

Weymouth has long been one of the most popular seaside resorts in Britain and King George III was a regular visitor more than 200 years ago.

The pretty harbour boasts attractive colourful houses and a flotilla of boats.

Cruise boats idle on the horizon as the pandemic has rendered them empty vessels for the past year.
