With barely a week back at work we’re back in the air and off again!!
This time it’s to the popular beach hotpot of Majorca. We’re staying in the quiet little suburb of More Vermell close to Alcudia.
Hotel More is our home for the next 10 days – well situated but not served with any amenities close by. You have to walk about 20 minutes into Alcudia town for shops, restaurants and bars. But the view from our room alone is well worth the isolated location!
There’s a nice little secluded bay – Platja Es Morer Vermell – right next to the hotel – which only shared the stretch of coast line with one other hotel ad a handful of private villas.
However the waters are prone to developing green algae, as is a lot of Majorcan sea at this time of year, so the water gradually turned from this lovey clear blue that you see here to a very horrid sludge but the end of the trip!
