Sunsets and scratches

A flying pit stop to Yarmouth starts off today’s tour. This historic port town sits at the mouth of the River Yar and contains some of the oldest architecture on the Isle of Wight, including a 16th Century castle

Then we meander around the pretty town of Cowes.

Home to the oldest and biggest sailing regatta in the world, Cowes is the number one destination for sailors during the summer months.

But now it is a peaceful town for a leisurely stroll around

Cowes Beach is a short pebble and shell covered beach to the west of the town and a nice spot to enjoy the sunset.

That is until we realise, too late, that we’ve been annihilated by mosquitos. . ARRGH
