Camden & War

Back in August 2021 we headed to the War of the World’s interactive experience.

The hubby is a huge fan of all things WofW so he is mega excited – but little did i know he had an exciting surprise for me first – THE LONDON EYE!! Woo hoo!

But first a float down the Thames to get there.

Then we arrive at the wheel! I am very over excited as I have never been on it!

You can see up to 40 km on a clear day and at 135 metres (443 ft) high, you can spot some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks and top attractions, including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace.

The London Eye has 32 pods, each representing one of London’s 32 boroughs and it takes around 30 minutes to rotate up and around.

Next up a return visit to my favourite tourist haunt Camden before we prepare to become alien abductees . . .

But here’s a few evening snaps as we meander back through the big smoke to our hotel.
