As we cruise back into the port the sun puts on a truly stunning display for our last night in Alicante. It’s been a short, but very sweet, visit and Alicante is well worth more than a fleeting glance. Until next time travel voyeurs! Te veo pronto!
Views from a train
We’re heading back from Murcia by train towards Alicante, and we’ll stop off at Elche briefly. But the scenery from the train is pretty incredible. Brooding hills frame endless swathes of agricultural plans. While this little town reminds me of every Mexican frontier town I have ever seen in films.
